The Frontage of LUSA in Gana In 1958, the school site was transferred to the lot (with a lease contract) of Mr. & Mrs. Herminigildo Villalon in Barangay Gana, where it catered its educational services for 38 long years, 1958 to September 15, 1996. The school continues to sustain and serve quality education as manifested by their successful alumni all over the country and the world as well. Likewise, it rendered educational services from generation-to-generation of the graduates - their children, grandchildren, and grand, grand children. Keeping up to the STANDARD expected from the school, students come and go. Almost all of the youth in the town and nearby municipalities availed of LUSA's services. Students stood tall and kept on with honor and pride with their green and gold uniform. They excelled in academics, co-curricular and extra curricular activities in competitions not only in La Union but throughout the Region and country as well. Alumni continued to be competitive in their vocations and professions as evidenced by their occupying of prestigious and top positions across the horizontal and vertical management levels both in the government and private agencies/organizations. September 15, 1996 was a day to always remember to the school community. That fateful twilight of the day turned LUSA into ashes when a big fire of unknown origin engulfed the building in a split of minutes. The school was physically downed but the spirit, will and determination to educate the youth were not dampened. While there was a great pain and grief of the school community, the challenge of MOVING ON became stronger and more committed to the vision of the founders.
